PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both improvements in the attachment workability and improvements in the finish when a poster is printed. SOLUTION: A plurality of regions corresponding to unit pages to be printed are set adjacent to an image expressed by original image data. Each of the set regions is extended by a predetermined size (size corresponding to an extension region at printing with no margin), and image data included in each extended region is sequentially extracted. Then, the extracted image data is magnified by a predetermined magnification rate, whereby page image data is generated. A region to be actually printed is made slightly larger in the size than a printing paper as illustrated, and therefore partial images of a character A can be printed surely to upper, lower, right and left ends of each printing paper. Moreover, the image printed to each printing paper is made continuous with the images of the adjacent printing papers. |
