PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherstrip to improve workability and reduce a cost during manufacture, and improve appearance and quality. SOLUTION: A weatherstrip 14 comprises a trim part 15 approximately in a U-shape in cross section; and a hollow seal part 16 formed integrally with the trim part 15. Most of the weatherstrip 14 is formed of a rubber material and formed by an extrusion molding part 21 and two end terminals are interconnected through a molding part 22. A decoration part 27 formed of a film of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is formed on the outside of the trim part 15 of the extrusion molding part 21. The moulding part 22 is formed of the TPE. Thereby, there is no need for vulcanization during molding. Further, since a mold device is simplified and the temperature thereof is not increased to a so high value, the decoration part 27 is not melted during molding and there is no need to preshave off the decoration part 27. |
