<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of printing a bar code in a proper position of paper having a slit. <P>SOLUTION: This image output device 1 generates the bar code based on content information and setting information inputted thereto (step S2), creates printing data including image data showing the bar code and data for determining the printing position of an image shown by the image data, when printing the bar code to the paper having a slit, so that the slit is located out of a blank secured around the bar code to rightly read the bar code (step S3), and outputs the printing data to a printer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
