<p>The invention relates to a method for coating an object (2), whereby the object (2) for coating and a coating material (4) are charged in a reactor (3) and then a part of the coating material (4) is permanently fixed to the surface (2a) of the object (2) for coating, by injection of mechanical energy into the reactor (3) and transmission of the mechanical energy in the reactor (3) to the surface (2a) of the object (2) for coating, characterised in that sound waves (8) in the frequency range of 15 kHz to 1 GHz are injected into the reactor (3), and that the coating material (4) itself transmits the mechanical energy to the surface (2a) of the object (2) for coating.
