A method for preparing a natural herb composition is provided to obtain the composition by ripening powder from the plants with a bamboo crude vinegar and then extracting ripened powder therefrom to prepare a final distilled solution from natural herb plants, thereby allowing the obtained composition to be safe without skin trouble and hypersensitive reaction and significantly contribute to treatment of atopic dermatitis. A method comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining powder from natural herb plants of Houttuynia cordata, Angelicae Gigantis Radix, wormwood, Cnidium officinale, Angelica keiskei, Sophora japonica, Pinus sylvestris, Mentha arvensis var. piperascens, Phaseolus radiatus, Armeniacae Semen, pine resin, Phellinus linteus, Lonicera japonica, Zingiber officinale, Scrophularia buergeriana, Zanthoxylum piperitum, green tea, Calendula arvensis, Platycodon grandiflorum, and blackbean; (b) after mixing each of the herb plants powder in a certain ratio and mixing the mixture powder with bamboo crude vinegar, putting the mixture in a pot with certain amount of water and ripening it at a temperature of 30-40 deg.C with agitation; (c) isolating a liquid containing ingredients of the bamboo crude vinegar and ripened powder from the ripened mixture material obtained from the step (b); and (d) putting the ripened powder in a high temperature distiller to finally isolate and extract a distilled solution used for treating atopic dermatitis.
