摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a virtual container(VC) path without a momentary break while phase of both system paths are being made even under a condition in which a delay amount of path data is suppressed to a minimum. SOLUTION: In each of interface reception parts 1 and 2, VC path information is successively held in memories 44 and 65, while multiframe synchronization is made with each VC on synchronizing parts 43 and 61 from overhead information of a VC path. In addition, in each read address setting parts 45 and 64, a phase difference between its own system and other system is obtained per VC from an MF number from the synchronizing parts 43 and 61, a total delay amount is decided per VC from the phase difference and the initial delay amount inserted into its own system and the other system in advance, and the held path information is read out as a condition delayed from the memories 44 and 65 just for the total delay amount. Thus, in each of the interface reception parts 1 and 2, under the condition in which the VC path is phase matched, the interface reception parts 1 and 2 are switched.
