<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of easily controlling an increase or decrease of a frame length and a transmission rate on the basis of throughput. <P>SOLUTION: For each of transmission rates usable in transmitting an intensive frame, a storage means stores a threshold frame length as a boundary between a range of an intensive frame length where if the frame length of the intensive frame increases, an increase rate of a throughput of not less than a predetermined threshold can be acquired, and a range of a frame length of an intensive frame where even if the frame length increase, the increase rate of the throughput is less than the threshold. Then, the threshold frame length in a present transmission rate in transmitting the intensive frame is compared with a present frame length of the intensive frame. Thus, any one of the transmission rate and the frame length of the intensive frame can be selected together with its control method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
