PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable cooling effect in the whole device by executing a systematic efficient fan control. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device, a temperature detecting thermistor is arranged in a fixation unit, besides, a temperature detecting sensor is arranged in a part B which is easily affected by heat, such as a scanner unit or a toner storing part. And when a heater for a fixing roller is turned on (S1-1), the detection temperature of the thermistor is increased, and the detection temperature of the thermistor becomes higher than a threshold A (Y at S1-2), and also, when the temperature of the part which is easily affected by the heat becomes higher than a threshold C (Y at S1-3), a fan rotating operation is started (S1-4). Besides, when the detection temperature of the thermistor becomes lower than the threshold A (Y at S1-5), and also, when the temperature of the part which is easily affected by the heat becomes lower than the threshold C (Y at S1-6), the rotation of the fan is stopped (S1-7). |
