PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of surely and appropriately adjusting an image forming condition as an image forming device correcting gradient to appropriate one by forming a gradation pattern chart and reading it. SOLUTION: In the case of forming the gradation pattern chart for reading 100 by an image forming means, respective gradation patterns 101 are formed so as to avoid the emphasis of electric field caused by the difference of a potential difference at a boundary part in the electrostatic latent images of the patterns 101 and 101 adjacent in a subscanning direction at an image forming part. Thus, the non-uniformity of the density of the gradation pattern caused by the occurrence of an edge effect and the follow-up ability of the replenishment of a toner is avoided, so that the entire density of the individual gradation pattern in the pattern chart becomes the more uniform one. |
