PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device to which the contents to be stored can be reliably written in while protecting memory contents even when the power source is turned off or when a door is opened. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a memory 21 capable of reading/wiring specified memory contents, a door opening detecting part 15 detecting the open/close state of a door provided in the image forming device, and a controlling part 30 writing specific memory contents in the memory 21. When the door opening detecting part 15 detects that the door is open, the device stops part of, or whole drive of specific member being provided in the image forming device and after a specific period from this stopping, the device allows the controlling part 30 to write the specified memory contents in the memory 21. |
