摘要 An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a power supply circuit are provided to reduce a size of the power supply circuit by using a common electrode signal as a driving signal of the power supply circuit and remove the necessity for installing a buffer circuit according as driving capacity of an amplifier for outputting the common electrode signal is big, thereby reducing a circuit area and improving circuit efficiency. A power supply circuit(130) is formed on a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate of an LC panel(100). An output of the power supply circuit is supplied to a vertical driving circuit(120). The power supply circuit comprises a DC-DC converter for generating positive power supply electric potential and a DC-DC converter for generating negative power supply electric potential. The DC-DC converters are driven by a common electrode signal VCOM. The DC-DC converter for generating the positive power supply electric potential outputs VCOMHx2, and the DC-DC converter for generating the negative power supply electric potential outputs VCOMH x -1. Therefore, electric potentials suitable to turn pixel transistors on/off are obtained.
