<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media stacker in which satisfactory handling quality is assured while external shape dimensions are made as small as possible, and also to provide a media processing apparatus equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The media stacker 100 has a bottom plate 101, and a cylindrical section 102 erected on the bottom plate 101, the inside of which is constituted as a medium housing section 103 for laminating and housing a plurality of the disk-shaped media in the cylindrical section 102. An upper locking piece 112 and a lower locking piece 111 which project approximately horizontally are disposed in an upper part and lower part in one side part of the cylindrical section 102.
