<p>A method (M1) for the production of starch from vegetable raw materials, in which an active substance (I) based on hops and/or tree resin and/or fatty acid is added during the production process. Independent claims are also included for (1) a method (M2) for the production of starch from vegetable raw materials, especially maize, by (a) mixing the raw material with a swelling agent and leaving it to swell, adding (I) to control the production of lactic acid during the swelling process, taking off the swelling agent and then removing and further processing the swollen raw material (2) a method (M3) for the interim storage of starch milk obtained in the starch production process, involving the addition of (I) to the starch milk (3) a method (M4) for the production of starch from cereals, especially barley, rye, oats or wheat, by milling the cereal, mixing it with water to make a paste, possibly leaving it to stand, separating the starch and gluten and further processing the starch, with the addition of (I) at some point in these stages (4) a method (M5) for the production of starch from vegetable materials, especially potatoes, tapioca or cassava, in which the material is stored between or during the processing stages and is also treated with (I) .</p> |
