<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for generating hydrogen which can be suitably applied even to fuel cell automobiles. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrogen is generated by hydrolysis of a first hydride, and hydrogen is generated by utilizing the heat generated in the hydrolysis of the first hydride to the thermal decomposition of a second hydride, and at the same time, the waste heat generated from a fuel cell is utilized for the thermal decomposition of the second hydride when necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
