摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an n-type oxide based thermoelectric material capable of reducing heat conductivity and specific resistance and possessing an excellent thermoelectric characteristic and to provide its simple manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: After a mixture containing at least strontium oxide and titanium oxide is temporarily baked, the resultant substance is baked in the atmosphere containing hydrogen gas. Otherwise, after the mixture containing at least strontium oxide and titanium oxide is temporarily baked, the resultant substance is mixed with hydrogen compound, which is baked thereafter.
