<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure SIR even in a fading environment. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station which receives F-DCPH symbols and CPICH symbols from a base station (1) averages a plurality of time-sequential CPICH symbols before a specified time of interest to predict a channel, and calculates an interference power ISCP using the acquired channel prediction value and the CPICH symbol at the specified time of interest, (2) averages a plurality of time-sequential CPICH symbols included with the CPICH symbol at the specified time of interest to predict a channel, and calculates a reference ISCP using the acquired channel prediction value and the CPICH symbol at the specified time of interest, (3) corrects an ISCP at the next specified time of interest based on the difference between the ISCPs and the reference ISCP, and (4) calculates a signal-to-interference power ratio SIR of the mobile station using the corrected ISCP and the RSCP of the F-DCPH symbol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
