<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a conventional driving simulator, the turning angle is limited and such a state in which a vehicle skids to turn sideways cannot be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: A driving simulator includes: a fixed base 1; a horizontal translation pedestal mounted on the fixed base and movable in the right/left direction; a yaw pedestal 10 rotatably mounted on the fixed base 1; and a rolling pedestal 20 the front and rear of which are axially supported on the yaw pedestal in a rollable manner. Thus, a vehicle body can be so controlled as to have a large turing angle and can reproduce the phenomena when the vehicle body spins. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
