PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a tube assembly is appropriately connected to an analyzer, and which class does a tube belong to. SOLUTION: The tube assembly connected to a fluid analyzer is provided with a first connector having an end surface which is formed so that it has in essence mirror-like reflexivity at least across its annular part. The first connector is suitable for being attached to a second connector which is attached to an enclosure housing the analyzer. Then the first end of the first and the second optical fibers is suitable for being attached in the second connector so that an optical path having no obstacles can be formed between the end surface of the first end of the first and the second optical fibers and at least one commonality on the end surface of the first connector when the first connector has been appropriately attached to the second connector. A light source is suitable for being optically coupled to the second end of the first optical fiber, and a light detector is suitable for being optically coupled to the second end of the second optical fiber.
