PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain sealability of a pipe joint for connecting pipes over a long time. SOLUTION: The pipe joint is provided with a joint body 10 having a through-hole 16 to which a pipe is inserted, airtight packing 40 arranged inside the through-hole 16 and a coming-off prevention member 50 engaged with the pipe. At an inlet of the through-hole 16, a sleeve 30 having a fitting part 34 formed thereon and fitted to an end part of the pipe is arranged. Along with insertion of the pipe to the joint body 10, the sleeve 30 is pushed into inside of the joint body 10. When the pipe is deformed to the extent that the deformation affects the sealing performance with respect to the airtight packing 40, the pipe cannot be fitted to the fitting part 34 of the sleeve 30.
