PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image write apparatus in which a deformation of a lens due to sliding resistance between a metallic mold and a projected part at the time of separation of the lens from the metallic mold for forming the lens is not generated. SOLUTION: The image write-in apparatus includes: a polygon mirror which scanningly deflects laser light emitted from a laser light source; and a lens system made of resin which images the laser light from the polygon mirror, wherein the bottom face of the lens is provided with a plurality of positioning projected parts having a same positioning direction in a subscanning direction, or a plurality of positioning projected parts having different positioning directions. Further, the projected parts are provided tilted with respect to the lens face having the projected parts. When the lens is installed on the image write-in apparatus, the lens is fixed by pressurizing the lens in the front face direction of the lens with an elastic member provided on the image write apparatus.
