摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for an electrophoretic display of excellent display quality, the electrophoretic display and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This driving method is a driving method for the electrophoretic display provided with a pixel electrodes 35b, 35w provided in every one of a plurality of pixels, a common electrode 37 provided opposedly to the plurality of pixel electrodes 35b, 35w, and an electrophoretic element including an electrophoretic particle sandwiched by the plurality of pixel electrodes 35b, 35w and the common electrode. Display of the electrophoretic element is rewriting-driven by common oscillation driving impressed with one or more of period of rectangular wave repeated with a high potential H and a low potential L to the common electrode 37, in a display rewriting period tx impressed with the high potential H or the low potential L for migrating the electrophoretic particle in each pixel electrode, and a frequency of the rectangular wave is 20 Hz or more, in the driving method for the electrophoretic display.
