PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the detection accuracy of a developer quantity detection device by simple constitution and to enhance convenience when a device is used by a user by making at least one end part of a sheet member for stirring developer abut on the surface of a detection member. SOLUTION: A wiping member formed by fixing the sheet member 46 in the longitudinal direction of a rotary member whose both end parts are rotatably supported by a developer frame body 11 is arranged in a developing container 11A. The wiping member is provided with the sheet member 46 and a rotary bar member 47 being the rotary member and also the sheet fixing member so that the surface of a measuring electrode member 20A is wiped by the sheet member 46. To put it concretely, the longitudinal-direction end part of the sheet member 46 is extended in the longitudinal direction so as to be made to abut on the surface of the electrode member 20A. Simultaneously with it, developer in the container 11A is stirred by the sheet member 46. Thus, since the stirring of the developer and the wiping of the electrode member 20A are executed by the sheet member 46 and the bar member 47 being the rotary member, the device is simplified. |
