PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect an obstacle to the navigation of a ship and to achieve the safety of the navigation of the ship by a method wherein a place indicating an identical object is made to correspond regarding every detection image selected from detection images which are input in a time-series manner. SOLUTION: Detrection images from an active sonar apparatus are input in a time-series manner. Out of the detection images which are time-series-input, a plurality of the detection signals are selected. Places which indicate an identical object are made to correspond regarding the selected detection images. Out of display data values with which the corresponding places are provided, the object is displayed by using a value whose magnitude of a value is in a prescribed sequence. For example, a ship in every time emits an active sonar signal, and a ship 302 in the time of t=-10 obtains the signal of reflected waves in an observation region 305. A ship 301 in the time of t=0 obtains the signal of reflected waves in an observation region 304. A rock 303 on which a ship is stranded exists on the course of the ship, and the rock 303 on which the ship is stranded is detected by using the signal of the reflected waves up to the time of t=0 from the time of t=-10. |
