PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manganese-zinc ferrite which shows a high magnetic permeability in a wide frequency band, particularly, high magnetic permeability in a frequency band near 10 kHz. SOLUTION: A manganese-zinc ferrite contains 50-56 mol% iron oxide (Fe2O3 equivalent), 21-27 mol% manganese oxide(MnO equivalent), and 20-26 mol% zinc oxide(ZnO equivalent) as main ingredients and 0.0003-0.003 wt.% phosphorus(P equivalent) as an accessory ingredient and has an average crystal grain diameter of 50-200 μm. |
