The invention relates to quinazoline compounds, manifesting antiproliferative activity, particularly antitumor activity, to processes for preparation of such compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing the said compounds and application thereof for growth inhibition and proliferation of the higher organisms and microorganisms cells, such as bacteria, yeast and fungi. The preferred compounds of the invention are capable of inhibiting the thymidylate synthase enzyme. Claims: 87
