REACTOR SYSTEM FOR DMC SYNTHESIS

Provided is a reactor for synthesizing dimethyl carbonate (DMC). According to the present invention, the reactor for synthesizing DMC comprises: an injection pipe to inject reactants for synthesizing DMC; a filling pipe provided at an upper part of the injection pipe, wherein a catalyst is filled to the filling pipe; and a reactor formed on the upper part of the injection pipe in a cylindrical shape to generate products of DMC as the reactants injected to the injection pipe pass through the reactor, and conduct a reaction under the presence of the catalyst. The reactor for synthesizing DMC enhances heat transfer efficiency, and increases miscibility and reaction activity of the catalyst, thereby more efficiently synthesizing DMC in comparison to a conventional stirred reactor.
