PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology in which, when a closed barrel type terminal is separated from a chain terminal and crimped to an electric wire, the terminal can be made likely to be crimped to the electric wire while making the tip vicinity of a core wire unlikely to be injured.SOLUTION: A terminal crimping device 50 is provided in a carrier 22 formed in a belt shape so that a terminal 30 can be crimped to a core wire exposure part 14 of an electric wire 12 after separating the terminal 30 from a plurality of chain terminals protrusively provided. In a carrier separation part 80 capable of separating the terminal 30 of the chain terminal and the carrier 22, a guide recess 84 is formed which guides the core wire exposure part 14 to a crimping part 40 placed on a lower die 60. The carrier separation part 80 is provided so as to be capable of standing-by in an electric wire insertion posture in which the core wire exposure part 14 can be arranged and installed at the crimping part 40 along the guide recess 84 after the carrier 22 is separated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
