PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that, when a first image is formed with a flat toner containing a flat metallic pigment, forms an image having a small difference in periodic variation between the attitudes of the flat metallic pigment, compared with an image forming apparatus that rotates a rotor of a removal part that removes toner attached to a transfer part.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 comprises: a first forming part 21G that forms a first image G1 on a moving movable body TB with a flat toner MT; a second forming part 21 that forms a second image G1 on the movable body TB with a non-flat toner NT; a transfer part CB that forms a nip N2 with the movable body TB while revolving and transfers the first image G1 and the second image G1 to a medium P to be conveyed to the nip N2; a removal part 90 that includes a rotor 92A that rotates on a shaft and removes a toner T attached to the transfer part CB; and a control part 60 that stops the rotation of the rotor 92A on the shaft when causing the first forming part 21G to form the first image G1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 |
