PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence element that enables simple and excellent exfoliation of a support material.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence element comprises: preparing a first base body 10; preparing a second base body 20; forming an organic light emission body 30; arranging a material of a sealing wall 40; making the first base body 10 and the second base body 20 adhere to each other; exfoliating a second support material 22 from a second substrate 21; and exfoliating a first support material 12 from a first substrate 11. At least one of the first base body 10 and the second base body 20 has an exfoliation assisting structure 70 at the position corresponding to the sealing wall 40 of an exfoliation interface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
