Disclosed is an integrated planar waveguide type irreversible polarization rotator. According to an embodiment, an integrated planar waveguide type irreversible 90 polarization rotator comprises: an optical waveguide type input and output terminal; a reversible 45 polarization rotator of an asymmetrical optical waveguide structure; an optical waveguide type irreversible 45 polarization rotator having a clad layer of a magnetic optical material; and a phase corrector arranged between the reversible 45 polarization rotator and the irreversible 45 polarization rotator to correct a polarization mode phase difference.
