<p>Mannich bases, alpha-Sympathicolytic. Cpds. of formula (I): (where R1 and R2 are H, hydroxy, lower alkyl, alkoxy or acyloxy; R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl; n is 0, 1 or 2; A is methylene; when n is 1, A may be -O or -S; R5 is aralkyl, aryloxyalkyl or arylthioalckyl, where the alkyl is straight- or branched (C2-4) opt. substd. with hydroxy and where aryl is phenyl-, naphthalene or thiophene opt. mono- or polysubstd. with halogen, hydroxy or lower alkyl or -alkoxy or where two adjoining C-atoms may be connected in ringform by a methylenedioxy group: and their physiologically acceptable salts, are new.</p> |
