<p>PURPOSE:To prevent flawing of a slide portion in a pump operating chamber or the like and deterioration of a seal, by eliminating a metal powder or the like in an intake passage of a pump by a magnet. CONSTITUTION:There is defined an intake passage 26 between a tank housing 2 and a motor housing 10 for a pump incorporated therein. The motor housing 10 is provided with a circumferential or partial recess 38 at the outer circumference of a motor near a permanent magnet 28. The tank housing 2 is provided with a guide plate 40 opposite to the recess 38. A metal powder in a fluid flowing through the intake passage 26 is intended to be adsorbed in the recess 38 by the action of the permanent magnet 28. In addition, a filter 41 is arranged downstream of the recess 38, so as to eliminate other foreign matters.</p> |
