PURPOSE:To execute easily and exactly the positioning and joint of a constitution body by adsorbing and holding the constitution bodies whose joint end faces have been opposed, by a receiving seat of a pressure-reduced holding body, when manufacturing a hollow body by butting a pair of thin constitution bodies. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic holding bodies 3 provided so as to be movable up and down and rotatable are opposed, and constituted so that air of a hole 5 is absorbed by a pessure-reducing device. Semispherical thin metallic constitution bodies 1, 2 formed in advance by a press are adsorbed and held by a receiving seat 4 of the holding body 3, in a state that end faces 6, 7 have been opposed to each other. Subsequently, positions of the end faces 6, 7 are matched by a spacer 8, and thereafter, the contitution bodies 1, 2 to which a flux has been applied are brazed by heating, and a hollow body is formed. In this way, the hollow body of desired quality can be manufactured by holding easily and exactly the thin constitution bodies at a prescribed position. |
