PURPOSE:To prevent an electrifying charger and an exposure optical system from being dirtied and degraded in image with a scattered toner by stopping the operation of a blowing mechanism after the stop of rotation of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The operation of a blast fan 15 is stopped 5-10sec after the stop of rotation of a photosensitive drum 1. Through the air current from an aperture part 16 much flows to the side of a charging charger 3 by a guide 17 of a destaticizing lamp 13 during rotation of the photosensitive drum 1, enough air to blow off the toner flows to the side of a cleaning means, and the scattered toner is scarcely stuck to parts around the photosensitive drum 1. The scattered toner does not stay by blowing from the blast fan 15 for 5-10sec after the stop of rotation of the photosensitive drum 1 and is sent to the side of the cleaning means. Thus, the scattered toner is not stuck to the electrifying charger 2 and an exposure optical system 3 to prevent the degradation in image.
