PURPOSE: To make a childproof cap convertible into a non-childproof cap by providing an outer cap with an opening near a bottom part of a side wall of an inner cap, inserting a stop into the opening, and pushing up the inner cap so that the ratchet type segments of the inner and outer caps are engaged with one another. CONSTITUTION: A molded plastic container 1 comprises a cylindrical neck 3 of a top, and a screw part 5. An inner cap 7 comprises a top 9, a side wall 11 and a screw part 13, is engaged with the screw part 5 of the container 1, and further includes a ratchet type segment 15. An outer cap 21 includes a cylindrical side wall 25 and a top 23, comprises the ratchet type segments 27, 29 on an inner face of the top 23, and further comprises a flexible connector 31, and the connector 31 comprises a stop 33 with an enlarged end part 35. The side wall 25 comprises an opening 37 for inserting the stop 33 at a lower part of the side wall 11 of the inner cap 7, and the inner cap 7 is raised when it is inserted, whereby the ratchet type segment 15 is engaged with the ratchet type segment 27, and the inner cap 7 and the outer cap 21 are engaged to be easily opened by a child. |
