PURPOSE: To dispense a beverage at a constant flow rate in the open position by comprising a rotary valve element comprising a liquid discharge port, a vent passage, and the aligned liquid discharge conduit and vent conduit, and an operation lever for moving the valve element between the open position and the closed position. CONSTITUTION: A rotary valve element 24 is located on the closed position, and a discharge conduit 31 is sealed. An operation lever 26 is axially aligned to the discharge conduit 31, and the liquid does flow from a container C. When the container C is opened to dispense the liquid, the lever 26 is rotated 90 degrees, a spout conduit 30 is aligned to the discharge conduit 31, and the liquid in the container C flows out from the container C. When a spout assembly is located on the closed position, a valve vent conduit 32 is located perpendicular to the vent passage in the vent conduit 34, and the container C is not ventilated. When the lever 26 is rotated to the left about 90 degrees, the vent conduit 32 is aligned to a vent passage 33 and a vent pipe 34, and the container C is ventilated. By the operation of the lever 26, the liquid is dispensed from the container C simultaneously with the ventilation, and a constant flow rate of the liquid from the container can be obtained. |
