PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursing lift in which ease of use is improved to properly cope with an anomaly of the driving state, or the like, of a lifting drive mechanism, and a method fro control thereof. SOLUTION: This nursing lift is provided with a lifting drive mechanism for lifting up/down a supporting section for hanging a person who needs to be nursed and moving up/down by electrical power. The lift is also provided with an anomaly detection means for detecting the presence/absence of the occurrence of anomaly of a driving operation or a driving state and outputting an anomaly detection signal when an operation switch 43 for operating to move up/down the supporting section is operated to be inputted, and an anomaly information means for inputting the anomaly detection signal outputted from the anomaly detection means and informing the anomaly as sound or light. When the anomaly detection signal is outputted, the lifting drive mechanism is made to be a stoppage state and the input operation by the operation switch 43 is invalidated. |
