PURPOSE:To eliminate a process for cutting and bonding piezoelectric elements, to mount the piezoelectric elements in high density with high accuracy and to form the extremely thin piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION:A vibration plate 3 is bonded to a head base stand 1 having a large number of individual ink passages 2 formed thereto and a canon electrode 5 is provided on the vibration plate 3 and piezoelectric paste composed of a piezoelectric element material (PZT) is printed on the parts on the common electrode 5 positioned above the individual ink passages 2 and sintered to from piezoelectric elements 4. Individual electrodes 6 are provided on the piezoelectric elements 4 and, subsequently, those elements 4 are polarized. When voltage is applied to the common electrode 5 and the individual electrodes 6, the piezoelectric elements 4 receive an electric field to be displaced and the corresponding part of the vibration plate 3 is deformed by this displacement and the volumes of the ink in the individual ink passages 2 increase and decrease and the ink of the individual ink passage reduced in ink volume is extruded. |
