PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an alkaline secondary battery which can improve low-temperature discharge characteristic of the alkaline secondary battery, without generating a large amount of waste liquid. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a negative electrode for an alkaline secondary battery comprises a step to prepare a paste by mixing rare earth elements and nickel hydrogen absorption alloy powders, conductive powders, and bonding agent in the presence of alkaline aqueous solution, and a step to fill the paste in a current collector body or apply the paste thereto. |
