<p>PURPOSE:To surely touch a desired input enable range even for an operator having large fingers by setting the input range corresponding to the size of the finger performing the touch input. CONSTITUTION:A touch panel 6 is fixed on the upper face of a casing 8 formed in the shape of a thin box, and a display 4 is arranged on the lower face side of the touch panel 6. The touch panel 6 is constituted by a resistance value detecting system, for example, and this system is constituted by arranging resistors at fixed intervals in the shape of a matrix in X and Y directions. When the operator touches a certain position on the touch panel 6, the touched position can be found out by scanning the cross point of resistors at the touched position. In such a case, the size of the finger can be spriously judged by constituting the matrix at intervals smaller than the size of the finger.</p> |
