PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass ceramic substrate, capable of improving qualities of glass ceramic substrate by stably adjusting a crystallization temperature of glass ceramic raw material to a proper temperature. SOLUTION: A mixture of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-B2O3-based glass powder and alumina powder is used as a ceramic raw material A to become a base raw material. The ceramic raw material A is calcined at 800-1,000 deg.C, preferably 875-925 deg.C and ground to give a calcined raw material. The calcined raw material thus obtained comprises a large amount of precipitated anorthite. The calcined raw material is compounded with the uncalcined original raw material A to give a ceramic raw material B having a lower crystallization temperature than that of the original ceramic raw material A. The ceramic raw material B is compounded with the original ceramic raw material A and the compounding ratio is adjusted to regulate the crystallization temperature of the compounded raw material. The objective glass ceramic substrate is calcined by using the compounded raw material. |
