PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform switching operation for packet communication accompanying radio zone movement by making an upstream device a switching connection according to a mode discrimination signal and a downstream device makes a switching connection with a signal delayed by a time constant adjusting circuit. SOLUTION: A time constant adjustment part 14 temporarily delays and outputs the mode discrimination detected by a unique word detection part 13. An A-mode encoding part 9 inputs transmit data for A mode from an A-mode input terminal 5, generates packet data for A mode, and outputs the result to a switch 12. An encoding part 10 for B mode, on the other hand, inputs transmit data for B mode from a B-mode input terminal 6, generates packet data for B mode, and outputs the result to the switch 12. In this case, the mode of a transmit packet signal is selected adaptively out of plural mode candidates with the control signal from the time constant adjustment part 13 according to the mode of a receive packet signal, and the data is transmitted to the switch 12. |
