<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strip a cable accurately and correctly along with improved accuracy in cable strip. SOLUTION: A terminal treatment device includes an opened and closed cable guide 30 for guiding a terminal of a cable 1 carried on a carrying means 10, a work supporter 50 for mounting a water-proof stopper 2 on the terminal of the cable 1, and a stripping cable cutter 40 opened, closed and movable forward and backward for stripping. The cable guide 30 and the stripping cable cutter 40 are opened and closed independently and also moved independently. The terminal of the cable 1 is guided by the cable guide 30 put in a closed state, and the water-proof stopper 2 is mounted on the terminal of the cable 1 while the cable cutter 40 is opened. While the cable guide 30 is still closed, a cut in the cable 1 is formed by closing the cable cutter 40. The cable cutter 40 is moved forward and backward to strip the coating of the cable 1 while the cable guide 30 and the cable cutter 40 are closed.</p> |
