The invention relates to a method for isolating polysaccharides, in particular for separating endotoxins from capsule polysaccharides of Gram-negative bacterial. The polysaccharides isolated by this method are preferably used for th eproduction of polysaccharide inoculants. The invention furthermore relates to inoculants containing polysaccharides isolated by the method described in this invention.
