Apparatus has bimetallic forming plates. The equipment operates with forming cassettes, located radially on a rotary disc. Molten lead is introduced along the axis of rotation, at the required speed of rotation. Molten metal is kept below the limit of sublimation, and an inert protective gas is used during addition of the metal.
