<p>PURPOSE:To selectively and well multiply only primary human cancer cells, improve the accuracy of a carcinostatic agent sensitivity test, etc., and simplify the operations by culturing a culture specimen containing the primary human cancer cells in a specific medium. CONSTITUTION:A culture specimen containing primary human cancer cells obtained by a surgery, etc., is cultured in a medium containing dextran sulfate having a mol.wt. of >=50,000 in an amount of 1.5-100mug/ml. The multiplication of fibroblasts contained in the culture specimen is well reduced, and the culture of the primary human cancer cells is not affected.</p> |
