PURPOSE:To prevent the drag of a parking brake by switching a spring energizing force to the release side at an intermediate position of rotation to the unlock position of a release lever and returning a release lever to an initial position in linkage with initial position return operation of a brake pedal. CONSTITUTION:When a release knob 13 is operated in an unlock direction in a parking brake state where a pedal lever 1 is located in a parking position B and a release lever 12 is moved over a change point 0 of a turn over spring 17, the force of the spring 17 is witched to an unlock direction, and a click feeling for an operator is produced. When a pedal lock is released, the pedal lever 1 is returned to the initial position B by means of a return spring, not shown. In process of the return of the pedal lever, a lock pin 18 is engaged with the side edge of the release lever 12 in an unlock position F to rotate the release lever 12 to an initial position E. In this way, complete release of pedal lock is performed. |
