CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator release signal 4 is input without a driver's will for acceleration during running, a decision portion 61 decides to hold the car velocity, and a hold car velocity setting portion 62 stores a signal Ns of a secondary pulley rotation frequency sensor 22, that is, the car velocity at that time to be set as the hold car velocity. Subsequently, a target primary pulley rotation frequency correcting portion 63 corrects a target primary rotation frequency NPD set by a retrieval portion 41 in order to keep the hold car velocity, and according to the corrected target primary rotation frequency NPDh, a calculating portion 42 outputs a target gear change ratio (is).
