Junction box or pillar with protected ventilation, used for connecting electrical or telecommunications networks

The junction box or pillar (1) is moulded from fibreglass and incorporates ventilation channels in the sides and rear (22, 23, 24) and in the door recess (7). The channels are angled upwards before resuming the horizontal such that their cross sectional profile is S shaped. The door ventilator channels use initially the door/lintel clearance and continue with the orifices (11) in the door recess (7).
