Novel preventives/remedies useful in preventing and treating urinary disorder in which endothelin participates, which contain as the active ingredient compounds represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof and exert excellent inhibitory effects on elevated urethral resistance induced by endothelin, wherein the ring A represents phenyl substituted by hydroxy(lower alkyl); the ring B represents phenyl substituted by lower alkyl; Alk represents lower alkyl; and R represents an optionally substituted nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic monocycle group.
